SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Medical robotics innovator Noah Medical today announced the successful completion of its first commercial procedure in Asia using the Galaxy™ System at Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong. This milestone follows the institution’s historic first-in-Asia clinical use of the platform in December 2023 and demonstrates Noah Medical’s continued momentum and expanding global footprint.
Performed by renowned thoracic surgeon Dr. Calvin S. H. Ng, the procedure signifies a successful transition from clinical investigation to commercial integration. Dr. Ng’s early involvement in the development of the Galaxy System shaped the design of the only embedded-imaging robotic-assisted bronchoscopy platform on the market. That design uniquely enables real-time tool and lesion targeting with an efficient single platform workflow while minimizing radiation exposure.
