AVAVA Announces $45 Million Financing Led by Catalio Capital Management to Accelerate Next Phase of Growth
$30 Million Equity Financing and $15 Million Debt Facility Support Continued Commercial Expansion, Innovation and Global Growth
BOSTON, Sept. 17, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AVAVA, Inc., a medical aesthetics company pioneering next-generation energy-based technologies, today announced a $45 million financing led by Catalio Capital Management, LP, AVAVA’s first institutional investor and a longstanding partner in the company’s growth. The financing consists of $30 million in equity financing and a $15 million debt facility, providing additional capital to support AVAVA’s continued commercial expansion, innovation pipeline and global growth.
The transaction builds on Catalio’s longstanding partnership with AVAVA and includes participation from new and existing investors. Catalio is leading both the equity and debt financing, reflecting its continued conviction in AVAVA’s technology, leadership and long-term growth opportunity.
“AVAVA is entering an exciting new phase of growth,” said Clint Carnell, Chief Executive Officer of AVAVA, Inc. “Catalio believed in our technology and our vision early, and their continued support speaks to the opportunity ahead of us. This financing gives us additional resources to scale our business, advance our innovation pipeline and bring AVAVA technology to more providers and patients around the world.”
Catalio became AVAVA’s first institutional investor, backing the company’s groundbreaking technology and its potential to create a differentiated platform in medical aesthetics. Since its initial investment, Catalio has remained an important partner as AVAVA has advanced its technology, expanded its commercial organization and increased its presence in the market.
A key focus for AVAVA moving forward is the continued advancement of its proprietary Focal Point Technology®. Future iterations of the technology are currently in development and have begun testing, reflecting continued progress across AVAVA’s innovation pipeline and the company’s commitment to advancing what is possible in energy-based aesthetics.
“Some of the most important advances in medicine begin by challenging assumptions about what technology can do,” said R. Rox Anderson, M.D., co-founder and member of the Board of Directors of AVAVA, Inc. “That thinking has been at the heart of AVAVA from the beginning. Focal Point Technology® opens new possibilities for how we deliver energy to the skin, and we are only beginning to explore its potential.”
The financing comes at an important stage in AVAVA’s growth. The company recently launched its AVAVA 2.0 software upgrade, continues to advance its clinical and regulatory programs, and is expanding its commercial and international footprint.
“From the beginning, AVAVA was built around the belief that there was a fundamentally different way to deliver energy in aesthetics,” added Carnell. “We’ve made tremendous progress bringing that vision to market. This next phase is about building on that foundation, continuing to innovate, scaling thoughtfully and taking AVAVA to the world.”
UBS Investment Bank and Oak Hills Securities served as strategic financial advisors to AVAVA.
