VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Former Health Minister, Mark Holland, joins a leading men’s health organization, as one of its newest board members.

Mark Holland joins the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation (CMHF) board alongside his current role as CEO of the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE). Holland is also an outspoken advocate for mental health. He continues to play a vital role in breaking down the stigma surrounding men asking for help by sharing his own experiences with depression and suicidal crisis..

"Joining the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation is a deeply personal step for me," said Mark Holland. "Having navigated my own dark moments and learned the life-saving value of reaching out, I know how urgent it is to change the narrative around men’s physical and mental health. I am honored to help ensure every man in Canada has the tools, community, and encouragement he needs to prioritize his well-being."

Joining alongside Holland is Vancouver-based real estate leader and strategic advisor Kantaro Goto. His decision to join CMHF stems from his own health journey and a passion for community wellness.

"We are incredibly fortunate to add such exceptional leaders to our team," said Dr. S. Larry Goldenberg, CMHF Founder and Chairman. "Mark’s courageous public advocacy and deep understanding of health policy combined with Kantaro’s keen commercial strategy will be tremendous assets as we scale our impact and inspire more Canadian men to lead healthier lives."
