Taking steps to halt the sabotage and increase Americans’ access to healthcare

The Trump administration has consistently and persistently threatened the health care and guaranteed safeguards that millions of American families rely on over the past two years. In an attempt to remove people’s access to healthcare and permit insurance companies to raise premiums for those with pre-existing conditions, President Trump has attempted to enact repeal measures. After that failed, President Trump resorted to undermining our healthcare system rather than working across party lines to reduce costs. There are more Americans without health insurance now than there were when President Trump took office due to uncertainty in the health care market and difficulties obtaining coverage.
