The CM Group is advised by Harris Williams about its impending sale to OPEN Health.
Global investment bank Harris Williams, which specializes in M&A advisory services, has announced that it is assisting NaviMed Capital’s (NaviMed) portfolio firm The CM Group on its impending sale to Astorg’s portfolio business OPEN Health. Leading medical communications platform The CM Group provides a range of integrated solutions to the domestic biotech and pharmaceutical sectors in the United States. Paul Hepper, Nick Owens, Rob Crampton, Lucas Scholl, and Gabby Struckell of the Harris Williams Healthcare & Life Sciences Group are spearheading the deal.
“Declining access to physicians, the growing significance of directly engaging patient groups, and the growing share of complex medicines in new medication launches are driving investor interest in outsourced pharma commercialization services.” Specialized platforms like The CM Group are disproportionately gaining from these developments, according to Harris Williams managing director Paul Hepper.
According to Nick Owens, a director at Harris Williams, “the combination of OPEN Health and The CM Group brings together two best-in-class commercialization firms, with exceptional reputations in the industry and an exciting opportunity to service premier pharmaceutical companies internationally.”
