IIT Delhi and AIIMS Launch ₹330 Cr AI Healthcare Centre to Revolutionize Medical Innovation

The Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Delhi and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi have joined forces to establish a cutting-edge Centre of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare. Backed by a ₹330 crore grant, the initiative aims to leverage AI technology to revolutionize healthcare delivery across India. By combining IIT Delhi’s technological expertise with AIIMS’ clinical and medical knowledge, the center will focus on developing AI-driven tools for early diagnosis, treatment planning, medical imaging, and patient care optimization.
