This famous Darwinian quotation may not instantly conjure images of hospital administration and physicians’ involvement therein! Physicians, or doctors as they are more commonly called in some countries, are considered to have a major impact on our survival and as a species are under pressure to adjust to changes in the socioeconomic environment and the political responses to these changes.
